hurricane ian
relief fund

hi my loves — sufey here.

on september 28th, the worst hurricane to have ever struck fort myers hit my little coastal town. it’s been said that this was one of the top 5 most destructive hurricanes in american history, with a projected $75 billion dollars in damage. hundreds of people have been found dead in their attics, or floating along the waters, in their freezers, trying to escape the storm surge. most of us were sorely underprepared, as the hurricane was estimated to hit several hours north of us, and many were not told to evacuate until it was too late. over 2.5 million people were left without power, electricity, water, or service. we still don’t have clean running water. many of my best friends lost their homes, all their belongings, and their jobs / incomes, overnight.

it was scary as fuck.

& we’re pulling thru, best as we can, to be there for each other.

if you want to help, you can DONATE ANY AMOUNT BELOW + 100% of the funds will go to local community members (aka people who i know & love), mostly mamas with young children, who have been uprooted and displaced. i have many friends who did not have insurance, and are left with literally nothing right now but the shirts on their backs — they need all the help we can give.

additionally — for the month of october, 50% of ALL PROCEEDS from my online classes + journeys will go towards hurricane ian survivors: for food, shelter, clothing, and to help tide people over who lost their homes, their jobs, and ALL of their belongings. updates will be posted via my instagram stories @sufeyc, and every dollar you choose to contribute is so appreciated.

$888 | (hu)man (a live journey beginning 11/11)
$111 | tea with sufey 🫖 (bundle of 4 potent Q+As)

this whole experience has honestly wrecked us. tahvy’s gymnastics facility is gutted + destroyed. our beaches and streets are absolutely trashed. so many of our friends have been displaced, having lost their homes, their jobs, and their loved ones. the sirens ring nonstop, all day, all through the night.

AND, at the same time, we are so deeply moved by all the hands + hearts that are coming together. all the neighbors that have been gathering to check in on each other, all the moments of communal grief and grace. we are so lucky to be alive, so lucky to be together, and so grateful for your support as we re-build our lives together.

your donations + contributions are so, so appreciated, and will be moved into deeply deserving homes + hands.

love,
sufey
